On this ten day itinerary we offer you an exciting program for one of the best trekking programs in Ecuador: The Condor’s Trek, an absolutely beautiful, authentic and remote area which is rarely visited by other tourists or mountaineers. The trek starts on the Eastern flank of the Ecuadorian Andes, just above the tree line and with panoramic views to the valley that descends into the Amazon basin, as well as the mountain sides of the Antisana Volcano and its glaciers. The trail starts at 3642 meters and follows a series of trails through the Paramo lands (Andean highlands). There is lush vegetation and beautiful lakes along the way. The itinerary progressively ascends to the highland plateau where Cotopaxi National Park is located. Hiking under the foot of Iliniza, following an extensive valley of high grass, which leads to the extinct Sincholagua pass on the volcano of the same name. This is the highest point of the trek and one of the best view points to the national park; in the background the mighty Cotopaxi volcano, highest active volcano in the world, and the neighboring Pasochoa, Ilinizas and Corazon. The trail continues over the highland and will take the hiker up to Cotopaxi’s glacier before descending into the valley known as the “volcanoes avenue” that divides the Eastern and Western volcanoes of Ecuador.

This cycling tour leads you from Austria’s sunniest state along the South side of the Alps all the way to the sea including impressive nature spectacles, cultural diversity and gastronomic delicacies. Sample the Carinthian dish ‚Kasnudeln‘, marvel at the peaks of the Carnic Alps, enjoy a glass of white wine from the Collio region on a piazza in Udine and finally rewards yourself with a dip in the refreshing Adriatic Sea. This nine day trip to Peru covers the most iconic highlights of the country, but in a different way. Visit Cusco and its highlights, experience the hospitality of the native in the sacred Valley by staying on a homestay and participate in local workshops. Visit Pisaq, Ollantaytambo and Macchu Picchu. Travel over the highlands of the Andes and explore the islands at the Titicaca Lake.

During this trip you will travel to Peru’s coastal highlights such as Lima, Paracas, Ballestas and Nazca. Travel to some of Peru´s great highlights such as Arequipa and the Cusco and explore the Inca Culture.  End the trip with some days on a beautiful beach in the Northern Peru near Mancora and Talara.

It has so much to offer and it has its own set of amazing highlights and several archaeological sites due to the many pre-Inca civilizations. Explore another more authentic site of Peru, and don’t miss out the amazing landscapes, the nature and the cultural diversity in this part of the country. End the tour in Cusco with visit to Machu Picchu.

Located in the Peruvian Andes, close the Cordillera Blanca, the Huayhuash range has some of the most dramatic peaks in the Andes like: Siula Grande (Dramatised in the film “Touching the Void”), Carnicero, Jirishanca and Yurupaja (second highest mountain in Peru) just to name a few. The semi-circular itinerary goes over several mountain passes, one of them above 5000 meters and most above 4500 meters. This is a high altitude trek, quite remote, physically demanding and long distances to be covered, but worth every step of the way. On top of all that, even though it is a famous trek, it sees less visitors than similar popular treks around the world. An experience not to be missed!!

The Guiana Shield is a 1.7 billion year old Precambrian geological formation in northeast South America and is one of the regions of highest biodiversity in the world. The shield has 1400 vertebrate species and 1680 bird species and is overlain by the largest expanse of undisturbed tropical rain forest in the world.  Join us as we explore the Guianas: Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana.  Marvel at Kaieteur Falls, the highest single drop waterfall in the world and discover one of the greatest untouched rainforests left.  This region is home to endangered species such as jaguar, giant anteater, giant river otter, tapir and so much more.  Spend time learning about the cultures of the region with visits to Amerindian and Maroon communities.  Be amazed at the Space Centre in French Guiana and relive the story of Papillion at Devils Island. This really is an untouched and totally unique part of South America.

An adventure that includes a visit to Kaieteur Falls, the highest single-drop waterfall in the world by volume. Then head deep into the Iwokrama forest and explore the canopy from the walkway through the tree tops. Stay at the Atta Rainforest Lodge with forest trails and hummingbird garden. Experience the Machusi culture at Rewa and with indigenous guide climb mountains, explore the rivers and ponds and see amazing tropical wildlife.
