It is located in the Buritaca Valley in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the highest costal range in the world. There are only two ways to visit the citadel; one is trekking or the other is a helicopter flight. The trek implies not only a challenge, but also an additional experience that enriches the trip.
