While the Alpine Rhine forms the country's border with Switzerland in the west, steep peaks seal off the principality in the east. At first glance, Liechtenstein may seem very miniature, but the small country counts more than 30 mountain peaks, making it a true hiker's paradise. Along the way, you'll discover sparkling mountain lakes, follow narrow high-altitude trails up to the highest peaks in the country, and visit charming alpine and mountain cabins. The eponymous capital and prince‘s seat is the starting point of this hiking trip, which promises a surprisingly diverse stay in the midst of a magnificent mountain world.
