Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival in Strasbourg

Arrival in Strasbourg, check in at the hotel and free time to explore the town, its sumptuous Gothic cathedral and its historic center classified as a World Heritage Site.

Day 2

Strasbourg – Sélestat Area 26 or 55 km

You will leave Strasbourg following the Rhone to Rhine canal to reach Osthouse or Sélestat, a city rich in a remarkable ancient architectural heritage.

Day 3

Sélestat Area – Colmar 65 or 49 km

After visiting the beautiful baroque abbey of Ebersmunster, you will cross the traditional villages of the Ried. This area, bordered by the Ill and the Rhine is crisscrossed by multiple waterways where a rich fauna and flora flourish. After following the canal, you will arrive in Colmar, a city of art with an exceptionally well-preserved historical center.

Day 4

Colmar – Guebwiller 33 km

Take advantage of this short stage to deepen your visit of Colmar in the morning. Do not miss the opportunity to contemplate the Issenheim Altarpiece, a masterpiece of the Rhenish Renaissance preserved in the chapel of the Unterlinden Museum, which houses many other treasures. You will then ride to Guebwiller, a wine-producing village located at the foot of the Grand Ballon.

Day 5

Guebwiller – Riquewihr Area 50 km

You will take the Route des Vins, a mythical itinerary with exceptional landscapes and wine cities animated by passionate winegrowers. At the foot of the Vosges Mountains, it will make you discover charming villages that make the fame of the Alsatian great wines: Eguisheim, Turckheim, Kaysersberg and Riquewihr.

Day 6

Riquewihr Area – Obernai Area 50 km

Still along the Wine Route, you will discover the villages of Hunawihr, Ribeauvillé, Bergheim, Andlau and its Roman abbey, before arriving at your hotel. Each of these villages offers numerous possibilities for visits dedicated to biodiversity, culture and local folk arts and traditions.

Day 7

Obernai Area – Strasbourg 40 km

In Rosheim, you will discover the Saints-Pierre-et-Paul church, one of the jewels of Alsatian Roman architecture. In Molsheim, you will join the bicycle path of the Bruche canal that will lead you to the heart of Strasbourg. The reunion with the European capital, its art of living and its gastronomy, will conclude your stay in beauty. Departure or extra nights.
