Bike through the Mayan World!  Come and discover the beauty of the Yucatan Peninsula on an incredible seven day cycling tour.  Along this amazing journey, you get to know breathtaking places: Chichen Itza Archaeological Zone is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and one of the seven wonders of the modern world, other majestic archaeological sites as Coba, Ek Balalm, and Tulum.  In addition, get to know the beautiful colonial city of Valladolid, founded in 1545, and declared a Magic Town of Mexico in 2012 by the federal government, and recently won North America’s 2019 Travel Lemming Reader Choice Award.  Admire one of the richest national parks in flora and fauna in Latin America, the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve and refresh yourself in the crystal clear waters of the most beautiful and enigmatic cenotes in the region.  Each leg of our bike tour will reveal a beautiful place in the rich and unique Yucatan Peninsula.

Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival in Cancun

You will be welcomed by your professional and certified guide in Cancun. Transfer to the enigmatic Chichen Itza, where upon arrival you will receive a briefing about the activities and important information regarding the tour. At night, you will enjoy the majestic spectacle of light and sound inside the archaeological site, with images projected on the Kukulcan Pyramid and other attractions.

Day 2

Chichén Itzá - Valladolid 59 km

In the early morning we will visit the Chichén Itzá Ruins. Afterwards, enjoy the scenic bike ride to Valladolid where you will be able to ride through local Mexican villages.

Day 3

Valladolid - Ek Balam - Valladolid 59 km

In the morning, we cycle to the Ek Balam archeological site. After enjoying this beautiful site, we cycle back to Valladolid for a city tour and a visit to the museum. For dinner you will find a variety of dining options you can choose from in Valladolid.

Day 4

Valladolid – Coba 70 km + 22 m - 29 m

After breakfast we will cycle to Coba. Along the way, we refresh ourselves in the impressive Tamcach Ha cenote. After visiting Coba archaeological site there is an optional zip line tour which can be enjoyed as well. We will travel to Tulum by van and check in to stay overnight.

Day 5

Coba - Tulum 45 km

After breakfast we will cycle to Coba. Along the way, we refresh ourselves in the impressive Tamcach Ha cenote. After visiting Coba archaeological site there is an optional zip line tour which can be enjoyed as well. We will travel to Tulum by van and check in to stay overnight

Day 6

Tulum – Sian Ka’an - Tulum 56 km

In the morning, we will cycle to the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve to admire one of the richest national parks in the flora and fauna of Latin America. Optional boat ride through the wetlands. In the afternoon, transfer in an air conditioned van to Cancun.

Day 7

Departure

After breakfast transfer by van to Cancun International Airport for your flight back home.
